Showroom

The primary purpose of our showroom is to educate our customers on the exterior remodeling products and materials we use. The differences between the materials can be subtle and hard to distinguish. Our showroom allows customers the opportunity to view and interact with the different products. It gives them the chance to ask questions and receive hands on answers from our home installation experts.

Lawrenceville Home Improvement was born in the basement of John “Pop Pop” Russo’s home in 1952. Over the years as his sons and grandsons took the reins of the business. The need to expand led to the decision to create a showroom located in a prominent retail space. In August 2015, Lawrenceville Home Improvement broke ground on our showroom located at 2821 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ.

Our Manufacturers

New Jersey Home with Replacement Entry Door

Windows

Windows occupy our most prominent showroom displays. Customers can easily compare the true aesthetic and technical differences between wood, vinyl, and fiberglass windows. To hear that a vinyl window has weld scars in the corner is not as impactful as actually running your finger down the adhesion to see if this characteristic makes a difference to you. For some customers weld scars are a deal-breaker. For other customers, once they see it, it’s no big deal.

What about comparison? It is one thing to list the differences between window materials—it’s another thing to see them, touch them, and interact with them. For example, have you ever seen the difference in tilt in features between window brands? Learn what to look for when differentiating the options available. The goal is not to sell you a particular window. The goal is to help you understand all of your window options so that you can make an informed decision and pick the window that best suits your needs.

Doors

Doors are a very aesthetically driven product type. For this reason looking at door options up close can really help you make your decision on which door to choose. Granted, there are thousands of door styles and door glass configurations—more than we could ever be able to have on display. Therefore, the owners of Lawrenceville Home Improvement have carefully selected a good array of door options that can give you an idea of door material, texture, color, and door glass. In addition, we have a wide selection of door glass samples that you can see live.

What is the difference between a fiberglass door and a steel door? Come in and see for yourself in our side-by-side display. Both steel and fiberglass doors have their advantages. Run your hand over the wood grain grooves and determine which door best fits your budget, aesthetic vision, and energy-efficiency needs.

It can also be very helpful to physically examine door glass when making you decision because details such as glass privacy can be very subjective. There is a wide gradient between the privacy levels available in a door glass pattern. They range from clear glass where you can see every detail to distorted glass through which you can only see distorted shapes and colors. We encourage customers to run a hand behind the glass to see how much or how little privacy the glass offers. This is definitely a detail you don’t want to be surprised by after installation.

If we don’t have the exact door configuration that you are interested in on display, come into our conference area where we can use door builder software to create your dream door on one of our big screen television sets. Using the software you can swap colors, door glass, hardware, glass size, etc. It can really help you envision your new door before you buy it.

Home Exteriors Siding with New Windows and Doors

Siding

Like doors, siding is a highly visual product. To that end, we have more than a dozen siding samples on display so you can get a feel for sizing, configuration, wood grain, and/or color. In a person’s mind a 4 ½ inch profile width and a 6 inch profile width may not seem that different in theory. However, viewing them in person can make a huge difference. The effect of each of the sizes is really quite dramatic. Our showroom will help you navigate these differences and come to a selection that will beautify your home and give you decades of enjoyment.
